The Infrastructure and Environmental Management Committee, chaired by Councilmember Elle Cochran will meet on Monday, Sept. 29 at 1:30 p.m. to continue discussion on IEM-4, relating to bicycle safety on Maui roads.

The committee considered fees, permitting requirements, hours of operation and enforcement issues related to bicycle tours. The committee used the June 2010 Maui County Downhill Bicycle Tour Study by the Department of Public Works as a resource in the discussion.
The committee will also consider a bill to approve the acquisition of Pili Street in Wailuku for the Wailuku Municipal Parking Lot, under IEM-39.
