Resolution to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Protect Kaho‘olawe ‘Ohana canceled from tomorrow’s council agenda

WAILUKU, Hawaiʻi (April 1, 2026)—Resolution 26-50 was canceled from tomorrow’s council meeting agenda and will be rescheduled at the council’s April 17 meeting, Council Chair Alice L. Lee announced today.

With the cancellation, no testimony or deliberations on the resolution will be accepted. Chair Lee will also announce this cancellation at the start of the meeting.

The resolution proposes to recognize the Protect Kaho‘olawe ‘Ohana for 50 years of dedication to aloha ‘āina in bringing an end to the bombing of the island.
