New ordinances signed into law June 19:Ordinance 6000 – amending Title 3, Maui County Code, to establish electric vehicle charging fees at county-owned stations to offset electricity costs, directing all fees into the county's general fund. Ordinance 6001 – amending Title 14, Maui County Code, to restructure the water system development fee, shifting the metric from meter size/fixtures to a calculation of requested average daily demand based on equivalent single dwellings.
